Proficiently Tuned ??


Now that I have learned enough to be dangerous to my computer, I did find my rigs limits. It is stable clear up to 4888MHz. It peaked at 5235MHz. It does scream right along. But in 3-4 minutes, the all mighty thermals take over. My rig is not setup for that much cooling. I have came to a happy medium, where I am not maxing out my rig, and it runs cool.
These are screenshots of where I am at, using 3DMark Utilities. Totally happy with the entire setup, and now trying to make a profile of all my settings, from the bios, to the software.

Final Tuning

I think I have my computer tuned about as well as I can, with the hardware I have. I use 3DMark Demo, and 3DMark 11 for my testing numbers. I have ran 114 3DMark demo tests, and 127 3DMark 11 tests. I do a test after each hardware/software change. I am happy with the speed of my computer at this time. It clocks at 1150MHZ (1.5GHz) at a idle, but cranks up to 4845MHz (4.845GHz) when there is a heavy load applied. Pretty much all tweaks are done to the manufactures maximum specifications. It does not over heat, or give me a blue screen.
